Why is this not a huge cult favorite? It’s even funnier than Sean of the Dead. For one thing it has a better ending. And almost as much gore. Writers should love it - nothing is introduced without being used later.

I always take a book with me when I’m moving the car. (A city ritual for those who don’t know. Cars cannot be parked on most streets for some hour period during the week, so you have to park them somewhere else, then move them back, usually with about half an hour to go to make sure you get a spot. Which is why I take the book.) Today it’s raining hard, so I tucked the book into the back of my pants to keep it dry and my hands free. I’m walking home and a black midsized car pulls up beside me. The window rolls down. A uniformed cop asks me, very politely, what I have in my waistband.
I showed him.
He thanked me and drove on.
Not that big a deal, really. Some minor electric work when the already strung lights blew out on the half-decorated tree. Major husband points were achieved. Much more rewarding than hurling tree, lights, and ornaments out the window.
