Mostly I just ate myself to death. Chinese for lunch Saturday, Afghani food for dinner that night, came back to Brooklyn with good friends Melinda Snodgrass and Ian Tregillis (make sure to buy their books when they come out in April from Tor!) for Italian dinner, then dim sum and Chinese New Year on Monday.
Burp.
I think there was a con in there somewhere.
Just so’s you know: a new effort was opened last night on the Italian front, Tre Otto, on Madison right around the corner from your alma mater, St.B’s. Very good indeed, stylish but not demanding a second mortgage to pay the tab. YAY!!!! for us deprived Upper East Siders … for once you Brooklynites don’t get ALL the press.

I’m afraid my neighborhood is starting to fade. Though we still have some great choices.
